For general skin maintenance, we recommend a facial every 4-6 weeks. If you're treating acne, pigmentation, or signs of aging, more frequent treatments may be recommended as part of a customized treatment plan.
Don't worry! Simply choose the facial that best matches your primary skin concern, or book our Signature Facial if you're unsure. We'll perform a professional skin analysis at the beginning of your treatment and customize & discuss what options we think would best fit your skins current needs.
Most of our facials have little to no downtime but will be discussed with you in advance before treatment so you know what to expect. You may experience mild redness for a few hours after extractions or exfoliation. Certain corrective treatments or chemical peels may involve temporary peeling or flaking, which will all be discussed up front.
Extractions are performed ONLY if they are appropriate and beneficial for your skin on that very day. We never force extractions that could damage your skin. Timing is key with extractions in order to avoid post-inflammatory pigmentation.

Please arrive with clean skin (if possible but not required), complete ALL required client forms (consent forms, health history, etc.) before arrival or it may cut into your appointment time and rescheduling might occur. Avoid using retinoids, exfoliating acids, or waxing the treatment area for several days before your visit unless instructed otherwise.

Porefection Aesthetics is located in a Sola Salons (Suite #26) in Carrollwood. If you see the Sola Salons sign, you have arrived! We are located in a large commercial complex w/ a Walmart at one end, as well as a Publix, and then Sola Salons is at the complete opposite end of the complex. We kindly ask that you sit up front (inside) upon arrival and we will come greet you and walk you back to the treatment room when ready. Detailed directions will be provided with your appointment confirmation.
At Porefection Aesthetics, every appointment is reserved exclusively for you. To provide the best experience for all clients and respect the time set aside for each service, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a fee of 50% of the scheduled service selected. Clients who do not show for their appointment without notice will be charged 100% of the service.
You can wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. When you arrive, you are welcome to change into a spa wrap, or you can simply stay in your own clothes. Your comfort is our top priority!
